Abstract Fast response pressure-sensitive paint (PSP) allows optical measurements of pressure fluctuations on a surface with high spatial and temporal resolution. This technique is evaluated for aeroacoustic inside an wind tunnel (AWT). The AWT test rig especially designed investigating the excitation propagation sound under conditions typical turbomachinery. aim this work to compare results tonal fields in circular duct conducted PSP microphone arrays order assess applicability turbomachinery acoustics applications.
